Scholarship Programs

  1. Samaj Kalyan Rajasthan Scholarship (समाज कल्याण राजस्थान छात्रवृत्ति):

Samaj Kalyan Scholarship - Eligibility

There are some conditions imposed by the authority to be eligible for this scheme, the conditions are:

  • The student should be native to Rajasthan.

  • The student’s family must belong to Minority Castes (SC/ ST/ OBC).

  • The student must be studying in a Government/Private school affiliated by the State Government.

  • The annual income of the Parent/ Guardian of the student should be less than 2.5 Lakh(s).

  • Student studying in Class-IX, X, XI, XII, Under/Post Graduate (BCA, MCA, BA, MBA, MA) are eligible for this scheme.

  • NOTE: Before applying for this scheme please make sure that you satisfy all the above mentioned conditions fully to avoid rejection of the form at a later stage. Once you get rejected you will not be allowed to re-apply for Rajasthan Scholarship Scheme again.

 

How to Apply for Rajasthan Scholarship Application Form

The Application Form for the every session is disclosed by the State Government. Students can get the Rajasthan Scholarship Application Form  by following the below mentioned steps:

  • The scheme is implemented through the State Scholarship Portal (SSP).

  • It is mandatory for all students to apply online on the website of this Ministry i.e. rajpms.nic.in

 

The list of documents to be scanned and uploaded are:

  1. Aadhar Number or registration slip.

  2. Bhamasha Card or registration slip.

  3. Bank details of own account.

  4. Name of Institution where students are studying.

  5. Name of course in which students are studying.

  6. The enrolled date for the present session.

  7. The end date of the present session.

  8. Fee amount and details.

NOTE: Please make sure that the documents you submit are valid. Upon the detection of fake documents, strict action will be taken against the individual(s) by the Commission.

 

2. SCHEME OF ‘MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP’ FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO THE MINORITY COMMUNITIES :-  

 

1. OBJECTIVE :-The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

 2. SCOPE:- The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a Government or private institution, selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will cover technical and professional courses at undergraduate and post graduate level.

3. ELIGIBILITY:-

 Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.

 4. DISTRIBUTION:-  Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain and Zoroastrians (Parsis) have been notified as minority communities under Section 2 (c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992. A total of 60,000 scholarships are targeted to be distributed as ‘Fresh’ Scholarships, besides, Renewal scholarships. The distribution of scholarship among the States/Union Territories will be made on the basis of population of minorities in the States/Union Territories as per Census 2001 for 2017-18 and as per the population of minorities in the States/Union Territories of Census 2011 for 2018-19 and 2019-20.
