Disciplinary Rules and Regulations(for students)

 

  1. Students are requested to maintain the highest standard of behavior and discipline both inside and outside the Institution.

  2. Students are required to improve and maintain consistency in their performance in the University / Institution examinations in order to get promotions to the subsequent class.  House examinations/Tests are compulsory .

  3. They shall strictly observe the disciplinary rules framed by the Institution. Violation of which will be dealt with by the Principal /Director in the manner she/he considers fit and her/his decision will be final.

  4. No student shall enter the class or leave the class without the permission of the lecturer

  5. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the academic building &  a fine of INR 500/- will be imposed if found guilty

  6. Fees are payable in time. Fees and other charges once paid by the candidate are not refundable in full or in part on any account whatsoever.

  7. Irregular attendance, indifference in regard to class work and examination, discourtesy towards teachers, insubordination, obscenity in word and act, willful damage to Institution property, anti-social activities, etc are liable for disciplinary action which includes expulsion from the Institution.

  8. Attendance to the Institution functions like association meetings, Institution assembly, seminars, group discussions, Industrial visits, Viva Voce, etc is obligatory to all students..

  9. Without the permission of the Principal students shall not organize any activities or associate with any outside group concerned with the campus.

  10. No meeting shall be convened, no outside person shall be invited, no publication shall be issued and no canvassing and mobilizing of the students for any particular purpose shall be made without the permission of the Principal.

  11. The Principal shall have the power to expel any student from the Institution if the student is guilty of serious misconduct or student’s presence in the Institution is injurious to the order and discipline.

  12. Latecomers can enter the class only if permitted by the lecturer. They may be marked present by him/her at the end of an hour only if there is sufficient reason for being late.

  13. Books, Magazines, Newspapers, Pagers, etc not approved by the Principal are not allowed to be brought to the Institution.

  14.  Educational tour is  Compulsory for students.

  15. Every student should possess an identity card issued by the Institution which should be produced whenever asked for especially when dealing with the office.

  16. Dress Code: The students shall wear Institution uniforms every day expect wednesday. The approved style of wearing uniform should be strictly followed. Usual dress for boys is pants and shirts and for girls Salwar suit. Black shoes and black belts are compulsory for boys. Any exemption will be notified by the authorities.

 

The Institution expects students to keep their vision high and solicit the cooperation of the parents to minimize the necessity of enforcing rules and regulations

Rules and Regulations (for parents & Guardians)

  • Parents and guardians should note that those who are admitted to the Institution are expected to maintain a fairly high standard of diligence and good conduct.

  •  It is understood that those who send their children to the Institution for their education accept the rules and regulations prevailing in the Institution.

  •  Parents and guardians are recommended to call on the office at least once in a month to ascertain from him what has been the conduct and progress of the student.

  1.  Permission for attendance to the university examination will not be granted unless:

  • The student has at least 85% of attendance at the end of each academic year as per the regulations of the MGS University.

  • A student gets at least a minimum pass mark in the examination conducted by the Institution as per the norms laid down by the Institution.

  • The Principal is satisfied with the character and conduct of the student.

  • No student shall absent himself/herself from the class without applying for leave. The application for leave should be countersigned by the parent or guardian.

  • When prior permission for absence, could not be obtained, the application for leave, shall be submitted on return, before entering the class.

  • In the case of leave because of illness for more than five days, the Principal may demand production of a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner, approved by the Institution .

  • Absence without leave from class tests, university examination, and at the reopening of the Institution after the holidays will be seriously viewed. Those who are absent themselves from the opening day classes will be terminated.

  • Students should get minimum attendance of 80% of the class conducted in each subject failing which they will not be promoted to the next class.
